Loft Info
The loft was designed for kids, but can be used by anyone, young or old, who can climb a ladder and negotiate getting into the space on their knees. Access to the loft is provided by a ladder that pulls down out of the ceiling. The sloped ceiling does not allow for standing up except along one wall but makes for a cozy nest for sleeping and lounging. It is completely finished: drywall, paint, lights and carpet and even has a little window for fresh air and light. Once up there the user can place a lightweight piece of plywood (provided) over the stair opening for privacy and safety. There is a queen sized foam mattress there to sleep on with sheets, pillows and blankets…all the ingredients for a private, cozy place to rest and sleep.
